Benton Brook Fall Extravaganza

A couple weeks ago we took another trip up to Massachusetts for the Darger's semiannual party at the farm.  Ryan's been working crazy hours lately, so we took off on Friday, found a cute little Inn and enjoyed a nice, quiet evening together.
Need I say more?

The next morning we headed to the Berkshires to meet up with friends, enjoy some competitive basketball and tennis matches, eat wonderful food, and barn dance the night away.  The drive was beautiful.  We decided to take back roads to get up to Mass and were so pleased we did.  I love the East Coast in the Fall.

We did a lot of lounging around when we first got there.

Somehow the Darger boys talked us into playing in the tennis tournament (Ryan) and the basketball tournament (me).  We both made it to the 'ship but lost.  Turns out Ryan is a stud at tennis.
And I obviously dominated at basketball.

And hey, 2nd place STILL got trophies and medals. Winning.

The night ended with a little bit of dancing.  We were pretty exhausted from the grueling tournaments, so we didn't dance too much.  But I did sneak this gem of the Darger boys doing the Hoedown.
