New Year

Hello!
We've been so busy lately that we haven't found much time to blog!

I had a job interview right before Christmas and found out that I got the job right after Christmas, and I have been working ever since!
I'm the new Office Manager for LogicPrep, a tutoring company specializing in helping students prepare for the ACT and SAT.  I love the company.  It's a fairly new business, and my boss is a fantastic entrepreneur.  It's a really fun environment, and I feel like I'm learning a lot.  Getting used to having a real job is kinda crazy, but I'm liking being busy and interacting with people again!

I also got a new calling in church.  I was teaching the 8-10 year olds in Primary, but I was recently asked if I would serve as 2nd Counselor in Young Womens.  I just got the call last Sunday, but I already love it.  Ryan and I both go to Mutual together, and I really like that we're both involved with the youth.  It's a lot of fun.  Can't wait for the Stake Dance coming up!

We spent the New Year with Connecticut's newest couple, Jaime and Ryan.  We're so happy they're living so close to us.  We haven't seen them much since we've been so busy, but we're hoping that changes soon! We love them.  We rang in the New Year by going to dinner, playing some Uno, and heading to downtown White Plains for our very own ball drop.  They actually had a ball suspended from a crane that was lowered as midnight approached.  It was pretty great, and for the first time ever, I got to kiss someone I love with all my heart when the clock struck 12.
