Chicago & Utah

Ryan had another recruiting trip at BYU in the end of January, and I didn't want to sit at home alone again while he was having all the fun.  I looked into flights to Chicago and luckily they were cheap!  So I took off for the weekend to visit Tiff and Eric and their adorable little puppy, Binx.  Perfect weekend?  Yep.

 Hugh, the little boy Tiff nannies for.  This kid is HILARIOUS.  My favorite part of the trip:

Hugh's dad walks into the room when we got home from picking Hugh up from school.  

Hugh: Dad! Kiss Kim!  Dad!

Hugh's dad: Hugh, you know that's not appropriate.  

Hugh: Kim her, dad!  Kiss Kim!

Hugh's dad: Hugh, I am married, and Kim is married.  Married people don't kiss other people.

Hugh: Kiss Tiffany, dad!

Hugh's dad: No, Hugh.

Hugh: Kiss Kim!  Kiss Tiffany!  Dad!  Kiss them!

Finally his dad just walked out of the room.  Tiffany and I both couldn't stop laughing- probably didn't help the situation. This is Hugh blowing me a kiss.

We went into the city on Saturday night - when Tiff got married, she and Eric moved to the suburbs to the cutest little apartment.  Totally jealous.

 We ate at my most favorite place in Chicago, Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinders.  GO THERE if you're ever there.  They make pizza pot pies!  SO, so disgustingly fantastic.

To be honest, we mostly just hung out and played with Binx.  I just miss her so much.

Ryan had some fun while he was in Utah, too.  He did have some free time away from recruiting.  I'm jealous of all the family he saw!  Miss them so much.
