My Best Friend's Wedding

I have to say.  This past weekend was definitely the third happiest few days I've ever had.

First- Obviously our wedding day.
Second- The day Ryan proposed.
Third- The weekend my best friend got married.

We started the weekend on Thursday when Ryan and I flew to SLC.  Obviously we were stoked to be up early.
My parents had driven my best friend since forever to Utah, and we met up with her on Temple Square.  I hadn't seen Whitney for almost 2 years because she'd been living in Italy serving a mission for the church!  It was a wonderful reunion.

We arrived in Salt Lake early enough to attend the Temple.  It was absolutely incredible.  Probably one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in.  It was all so ornate, peaceful, and marvelous.  I just loved it.  And it was wonderful to have this experience with Ryan and Whitney!
Here we are on Temple Square after the session.
We arrived in Logan pretty late Thursday evening, but everyone stayed up to see us!  My parents, sisters, soon-to-be-BIL, grandpa, aunt, and cousin Megan were there and it was all so happy!  Reunions are the best.

The next morning we began flower prep.  The lovely bride told me what she would like, and I tried to do exactly what she said.  I think the flowers turned out pretty great.

Of course we went and got mani/pedis.

Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of my family on Friday night, but I know someone snagged a picture.  If you're reading this, and you have one, I'd LOVE it!
Friday night, Sissy, my sister with Autism, was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  It was truly one of the most beautiful and sweet experiences I've ever had.  She's such a special spirit.  And she was so happy to be baptized!  It was perfect.

Later in the evening, we took the bachelorette for a night on the town!

We got into bed Friday night so excited for the events of the following day.
And an exciting day it was.  A beautiful day.  Top notch.
I'm so proud of my sister for deciding to be sealed to her husband for time and all eternity in the Temple.  How much happier could it get?
I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

We drove back to Provo area on Sunday and spent the afternoon with Ryan's family.  Obviously we had tons of fun.
I can't begin to describe how much fun Ryan's family is.  I got so lucky to get such great in-laws.  But seriously.

We stayed with Ryan's Dad and Dorsie on Sunday night and flew back to New York on Monday morning.
It was just such a beautiful weekend.  There are no words to say how happy I am about the experiences we had this last weekend.  Ryan and I are so richly blessed to have the family we do.
