Easter Weekend

This past weekend we were invited back to Benton Brook Farm, the Darger's farm in Otis, Massachusetts.  We ate tons of yummy food, mingled with our closest friends, and enjoyed the beats of DJ Ryan D in the barn that evening.

After the festivities, we were asked if we wanted to stay in the barn instead of driving back to Westchester that night.  Why not?  Since we didn't have church til 1pm the next day, we stayed.
But before you start thinking "...they stayed in a barn!?" just check this barn out.

This is the girl's side of the barn.  We slept in the bed in the corner.  It was a little cramped. Oh, and about 30 degrees that night.  Brrr.
Totally worth it!

When we got home the next day, we discovered the Easter Bunny had paid us a visit!
Yum!

Because of our spontaneous sleepover in Massachusetts, I hadn't even thought about Easter dinner!
Some housewife, right?
Luckily our good friends, the Johnsons and the Dibbles invited us to have Easter dinner with them.  It was delicious!  And such a kind gesture.  Seriously, they have no idea how much we appreciated it.  Without them, we probably would have eaten pancakes (no offense to anyone who ate pancakes for Easter dinner).
The Johnsons made all of these eggs!  I think Lucy counted 52 total.  Impressed.

And on Monday we were visited by the Easter Bunny again!  Apparently he'd also sent some candy to Carolee and Ron that they forwarded over to us.  Lucky to have such great in-laws!
